What and Where you ride????? Snow Only

No need for Chuck. The beetles are doing a great job at killing them. Where we ride the Forest service has thinned out the trees so well, you can drive a truck thru them. Great for Boondocking.

I ride an 08 XP 163". We mostly ride Monte, Heber city, or the Uintah's. We also get up to Tony Grove 4 or 5 times a year. Love going to Alpine, WY, and several trips to IP. Maybe we could get a UT ride this year.

My name is mike... I live in ogden... Ride with my brother Mjunkie, my pa, and 1mexonm7... Also a few other guys who are not snowest members.
We have a cabin in franklin basin, so 80% of my riding is there, tony grove/steam mill/egan basin... Sometimes cub river and bloomington area.
Usually go to providence once or twice, and farmington from the peterson side bi weekly. Uintas once or twice.
Ride monte only if I have too.
Would like to meet up with some snowesters and ride some new terrain this year.
Also would be willing to have some snowesters meet up at the cabin and stay the weekend.
We have 4 bedrooms, and 6 beds, a few couches and plenty of room on the floor to sleep.
Snowesters are more than welcome to come stay.
Edit: I ride a 08 m1000 153sp

I ride an 04 Snow Hawk 600HO with a 136, lots of mods, and more to come soon (800HO and 151). I am able to keep up with all my friends that ride Rev's, M8's and King cats, and go some places they can't. We typically go wherever the snow takes us; Farmington, Bountiful, Monte, Tony Grove. We also started riding the north side of the Uintas the end of last season. Awesome stuff there, hopefully we will get a chance to meet up with sleadhead sometime this year.

04 Rev 800 with some mod's, We ride anywhere the powder is best. Usually meet others to ride the Wasatch Back areas but I love exploring new areas. We've been heading to central/southern Utah lately to ride the High country, good stuff.:)

Thanks: WatchThis
That's really what I was hoping this would generate. We all have a common interest, and sure there may be some personality clashes. But if we come to realize that we are all neighbors in some way. Might be cool to hook up and make more friends to ride with. For Example: I live less than 15 or so miles from Kevco and never would have a chance to meet or ride with him if not for the SW forum. I really look forward to showing off some spectacular areas and hope others will reciprocate and do the same.

Killerk: Many props to you for putting such a great offer out. Outstanding.

Next, I think we start a post about experience levels and riding style. That may really sum up who wants to ride with who. I am so stoked to ride this year. Thanks to everyone for your input and hope to meet and ride with you guys and girls (cuz my wife rips).
Cheers:beer;:D

Phatty: what's up your sleeve this year????????????

Hi, my name is Jed. I have been a sledaholic for many years now. I was told the only cure was more HP. So I try and get the most HP that I can.
I ride an underpowered, heavy Yamaha.
I prefer to ride Logan Canyon. I also like Prov.
I have been known to try a few different areas every year, and hope to ride some new ones this year.

Someday maybe, I will be able to cure this disease. I just hope its not too soon.....

We will definately keep this thread going.

I would like to think that I am an advanced rider, as are a lot in my group.
But we have some less experienced riders in our group and have no problems keeping the group intact.

I'm up for day trips weekly within a 100 mile radius of ogden.
I tend to ride logan more than anything, so riding other areas from a different point of view will be refreshing.

For those that are a little further away from cache valley, we can definately put something together in advance up to franklin for a long weekend to make it worth while to those traveling.
Cabin is 4miles off the highway, so some supplies will have to be hauled in on a sled.
Not to bad to make multiple trips back and forth for gas or supplies. Depending on grooming of the trail.

As soon as the snow starts to accumulate we can start to plan.

I'm chris I ride am 07 m8 clutched hopefully an 09 this year. I ride up franklin most of the time and sometimes go up Prov. I have a cabin up on alpine, wy which is about 3 miles to greys canyon. I haven't been riding up there yet and really want to make some trips up there this winter like what killerk was saying about his cabin it would be fun to make a trip up to alpine and stay at my cabin. I think of myself as an intermediate/advance rider. I love climbing and love boondocking through trees. Definetly looking forward for meeting up and riding with you guys.

Scott is the name, ride where ever the snow takes me, mostly Mill Hollow, Soapstone, or Strawberry towards tower mtn. Love Logan Canyon and Fairview areas.

UT ride sounds great.

Keep ur eyes open fellas there is ALWAYS someone jonzing on here. One thing I have noticed with big rides, they can get dicey. Everyone want to go another direction. But early season rode rides are great to socialize and there are plenty of guys with self control, who will stay on the rode to pull me back to the truck when i break something.:face-icon-small-win

My name is Phatty... I am addicted to snow and all things that travel upon it.

I will be riding my couch this year as i just bought a house and cannot afford a sled!

I guess i am a farmington resident now (will be in 2 weeks) so i plan on riding farmington canyon everyday... yes everyday, except when i go to logan or alpine... however refer to problem number uno...

Guess i will be riding two up with Big Sal and WFO all winter! :face-icon-small-win

I hear ya Kev, 3 to 6 riders is an ideal # for me. Keep it small and keep it moving. We usually cover 50 to 60 miles a day. For an organized ride just might have to sacrafice a couple days.

Holy crap Phatty. That's a long way from AF. But I hear the sledding is good there. Couch Boy:D Congrats on the new Pad.

YO, Phatty,

I just picked up an 03 570 mtn cat for my kid you can ride when the 8 year old isn't with me.

:):):):)

Could let you ride Shannon's sled but it is pink.

You should post on every thread. LOL:eek:

That's the only way to get the message out.

and now back to the topic at hand

Come on Phatty, what about BD 6? It just wouldn't be the same.

If you need a replacement rider, I know a guy.:D
