Whacked a T-post - Help

Riding this weekend I found a T-post under 8 inches of fresh snow. (Perfect day for riding in the Wasatch) I stopped and checked out my sled and I could not figure out where I hit but I knew I hit it hard. Got home and after the snow had melted off I noticed that I hit the t post with my track and it bounced it over and dented up my foot boards bending them slightly in to where they are rubbing on my track. No big deal I can pound it out pretty easily. But after inspecting my track I noticed the t post cut about a half inch cut right in the outside edge of the track. My question is how do I fix the track? since it is only a half inch do I even need to worry about it? any ideas would be very much apperciated.

If it's only about half an inch, I'd just trim around the cut so it doesn't snag on something and ride it.
