Just wondering if anybody knew what the snow and avy conditions are around the West Yellowstone area? Thanks

good conditions
We are in west right now and it is great!! Scottie hit a tree today on a very technical climb on lionhead, Bauer took out a front end off a massive 185' jump back in lionhead, Captain Carver got stuck on a 60 degree vertical trying to help out Scottie. I ended up following the Captain up the hill and was stuck near his highmark. We had to make a huge shelf and 2 hours later got Scottie home. Scottie has a seperated shoulder from trying to wrestle the kitty cat before it hit the tree. I think he was thinking about Becky and lost his line! Next time we are bringing the semi with a few back up sleds. We are flatlanders without a cause!!

i did not go down into west, Rode north of there this weekend...but would be surprised/shocked if you can ride from town...
been pretty warm out there...
We were still riding from town on saturday. It was starting to get a little bare but it wasn't muddy yet. The begining of the week was awsome! Get half mile from town and there is a ton of snow yet!

Yeah and Coyboy Carver wants to go back again!! What a great trip, no people, lots of snow (more than when I was there in early Feb.), fresh snow, lower priced hotels, and warm temps!!! You also have a big bear in town to hug (for Bauer)!! You really can't beat it!
