The West Yellowstone Chamber of Commerce has announced that they will be adding $2000 to the 100% payback at this years race. The race will once again be in conjuction with Expo on Mar.15-16. More info. at www.wssra.com

Tell them to add at least half of that to the winner of open mod mtn (the class that really matters) and I'm back!!!
Since it's 100% payback we could charge more to enter the class so you could win more. I'll pass it on. Don't quite know how to put it, "hey put a grand into mod open and one more guy will show up". Esp. when I tell em it's the"freak". 
I like the idea of raising the entry fee of certain classes cause it makes it exciting but the problem is racers who think they dont have much chance will prob not enter. West Chamber should certainly do what they can to keep this race alive. I hope my turbo is ready by then me and the boy had a lot of fun last year.
Well this year with West having a national sno-cross race ($$$$) I think that this being the first year for added purse it looks like they are really trying to keep racing going. Look forward to seeing you there, get that sled ready.

No, prob not going to make it. Hoping to make th shootout but not sure on that either, its getting down to the wire and I just am having a hard time spending the money.

WSSRA put on a very good event and I was impressed with their effort
Thanks to Sandy, Chrissy, Janet, the Zak Boys David and Pop and the green Klim starter guy and the other guy working the board I didnt get your name.
I enjoyed the weekend and what a great way to spend my 40th Birthday with all you motorheads and race freaks.
That Apex was FAST!!!! Not sure if the Freakmobile could have touched it.
Also impressive was the 25x skidoo Patane to hang in so many classes and with the Open 900 sleds

I had a great time at WEST. The racers were great fun. They put up with me yelling at them with a bull horn for two days. Just want to let them all know that it was worth the sunburned face and scratchy throat. I enjoyed the events. Hopefully we can get more added money next year. I thought that the army guys were pretty cool to present the flag's the way the did. How appropriate for a snowmobile race. This comes from the mother of a vet. I would like to see them come every year. I look forward to great conversations at the race track with all the racers next year. Janet

Yeah that old zollinger ski doo runs good just not as good as the pump gas 900 cat I ran him on! Stock pistons, cyls, and stock porting!!

I wasnt there, hes a local buddy of mine and we have it out alot here in cali! The guys he was runnin with up there were the menth's who had the "black widow racing" sleds.
That guy doing the starting was none other than Marty Chin, and the guy running the board was Derek Hager both great drag racers from Oregon. Thanks a bunch to all of the crew they all were awesome. As far as the 51 classes, well something needs to be worked out there. Pretty sure we can shorten up the days with a little cutting back on classes. Input always appreciated.
