6 lbs off the front of a sled ain't chump change!!!!

One thing to consider also, this is the only setup that will work with BOTH M & CF shocks. If you have a CF & try to put on a 40" front it will bind & sit really funny.

Thanks for this product, I'm sure I'll lose an A arm at some point & now I know where to look for a replacement.

They quit making them because other company's kept copying them....They spend all the time and money to do the research and find out what works and will hold up and then others copy it at a fraction of the cost.

Look at Arctic Cats rear sup,a direct copy of a Holz setup.Kind of makes it hard for Holz to sell their kit when it comes on the sled stock..

When it comes to A arms, there isnt really much that you can get all wild and crazy with to make them different... Some put cross braces on them, others run a single tube on the upper. They all bend when you smash em into stuff, soooo...? Chalk it up to competition, gives the consumer more options and should help bring the price down to a somewhat more reasonable level.

The rear suspension I can understand, but it's funny you mention in this thread about copying, Holz is the only company that makes a 41" setup, and they're the only one that makes the arms the way they did.

Till they had a hissy & stopped making Cat stuff They were my preferred a arm company, that only changed because THEY changed it.

I understand why they're frustrated, don't get me wrong, I just think they made a mistake deciding to stop making something that was already jigged up & was a unique product.

How does the 41" work for purely boondocking vs. the stock width?

I have 40' or is it 41" width Holz A arms on my RX ton and it's a bit tougher to lay over but you get used to it and it's a lot easier to keep it from rolling completely over than with the stock RX-1 A width. Same here?

Cat Arms

Well all I know is they had/have a good product. And when people call me and ask to offer that product because they cant get it any place else, then I will. I am not getting rich by anymeans in this industry, just trying to afford the addiction...lol :beer;

I'm pretty anti wide a arms, hate the 43's but I don't notice the extra inch with the holz ones. I run them all the way in which puts me at 40", it works well for me.
