Went to the track

You run anything other than a drag comp? Smarty or ??? Curious how you control your fueling down low off the line... I run cheap injectors but it smokes like a biotch while I'm spoolin on the line... And if I screw up and don't get it fully spooled it smokes off the line for quite a while till the turbo lites... Local track always puts me in the outside lane now so I don't smoke out the guy next to me... lol

BTW skidooer1, you the guy I met at the Fort Dodge pull last year?

Rattlin_ram,yep that was me.I was wondering if you were on the new board.I was up there in fort dodge for the pulls this year and there was no truck class. my cousin has me talked into joining the midwest pullers asso., just need to get a stack and do all the safety regulations stuff. matt

I did have some fun yesterday lol. Pulled up to a rural intersection that is 4 lane back to 2. Had a couple cars pull up beside me in the right lane going to get the jump on me. I enabled lockup and waited for the light. My timing sucked and I bogged it off the line and they both got the jump on me. I patiently backed out of it and slowly rolled back in and a couple hundred feet out the turbo lit and I went by both of them in a hurry in full tire burn mode lmao. I looked back and noticed I left two nice patches for quite a ways as I was going by them. I don't know what their reactions were but they decided to just hang way back as we headed on down the hwy. So much fun lol. I have another vid that explains my drag racing conundrum from Wed

Got lined up with a full on wheely bar'd race car. Knew I was toast but wanted to put up a little fight. Let the boost creep up to 4-5psi and spun right off. Then it was a tap dance until it shifted into 3rd before I could bury it. I need 4wd if I'm going to do this for real. I paced him all the way down the track after I got hooked up. He ran an 11.4.

I was in fort dodge at the pull... lots of guys pissed they didn't run trucks... not sure if I'll go back next year because of that.... But we ran up to Humboldt which ran their pull the same night for some reason. Managed to get in there right at the end. We took at least 6 trucks up to Humboldt.

I pulled with the Midwest pullers in Manson before I put in my turbo and injectors. I got 1st in the street diesel class. I didn't pull in the pro diesel class... I'll be in pro diesel this year though because my turbo.

Duke if I did a low boost launch in 2wd with mine I'd smoke for 30ft then the turbo would light, back tires would break loose, I'd let off and get under the turbo, then more of the same... lol At least that's what happened when I forgot to put it in 4wd and got my a$$ kicked by an old POS lookin mach 1 mustang...

F1 injectors are on the menu for this winter sometime...

5x5... I run it 3x5 daily and can drive with no smoke. If I nailed it with no boost it will block the sun out for a city block. I guess you learn how to just roll into it. It's quicker if you don't put the fire out by drowning it.

How do the twins come on? Mine comes on like 1...2...3...5...10...50. Takes a couple secs but then hits like a ton of bricks. What caused it to spin in that vid when it went from 10-50 in a split second. I've heard twins come on slower and smoother.

Duke, what's your setup? I was talking to Nathan last week and am probably going to put an 81mm under my 66 this winter. either that or go to a 74mm single.
