Wenatcheee Snw Rnger

Agreed. He is squishy on many issues a "Republican" shouldn't be. But he can be influenced and bought with pressure and donations. Just a thought...

Some snomo folks seem to assume that it all should be for them to ride, and that the rest just need to go to Wilderness. That is unreasonable for many reasons, previously discussed at length.

All uses could be served, with none 'shut out' at least on our Wenatchee Forest. No reason to shut out snowmobile riding, as well no reason to shut out human-powered use of the quiet non-motorized Forest in winter.

the only thing that needs shut out is your rhetoric....again..

and again, show the numbers of allowed sled riding areas in acres and then also the amount of non-motorized available areas(including wilderness).

it's been a couple years that i've been without a sled and riding, but i'm sure it's only gotten more un-balanced in your "balanced" suggestions.

For what it's worth, this is funding for a job at Wenatchee River. No effect on the Teanaway, that's the Cle Elum district. No effect on PowderMiner's favorite spot either, that's the Entiat District. This is also not a new position. Been there the 10 years I've been in the area. Actually used to be 2 of them, now this year, it sounds like they will have money to have somebody patrol out of Lake Wenatchee 1 day a week. (I know the guy out of Entiat that does it, talked to him the other day, small town) Also, if you have tabs, a snopark permit, and aren't breaking any laws, they aren't concerned with you. If you feel that basic enforcement to make sure people have paid their dues to be out there is a waste of money, then take away the threat of getting a ticket for no snow park permit or tags. Let's see what happens to the funding for the whole program when there's no reason to pay into it.

As is, for all the trails in Chelan County, there are 2 people who put in a combined 24 hours per week to make sure we have tags and snopark permits. You would be surprised how many people are riding without current tags. Those people are mooching off of YOU, the responsible sledder.
