Well, well, well.......

All those sleds combined lost fewer pistons than my one Polaris, well, well, well.

I've been watching some of that, too.....what amazed me was the transition of the posts from "first I've heard of it" to several other owners piping up telling of their breakdowns. Time will tell, I just wish the manufacturers could build Yamaha-like durability while maintaining the 800 class mountain performance....pipe dream??

True, you have had your fair share (and then some). But let's see after some time elapses as to how durable the e-techs are. I'm hoping they built them right, but I have my doubts.....

All brands have sleds that go down.

All brands seem to be getting more reliable.

All brands are susceptible to improper warm up, cool down, warm up cycles while riding. Especially cold shock-- some worse than others.

Always hate reading about burn downs and lost riding time-- regardless of brand.

I love my Pro, other sled brands (and Poo's too) issues don't make me love mine more or less. I just hope our Pros don't have any issues.

I hope skibreeze Etech runs flawless, he's had enough issues with his Dragon to last a lifetime of sledding. If he has issues with his Etech, we'll have to consider he is the common denominator and maybe retarded. Just kidding, cursed maybe?

Snowest is a great resource for ideas and problem solving on our sleds. Unfortunately, it sometimes becomes a place to throw more sh*t on each other or worse, pour salt on some poor basta*ds wound when his new sled burns down.

Very true Murph. I've wrenched on all the brands here and there. The yamahas are super reliable from what I have seen, yet I have no desire to own another one. Poos, Cats, and Doos all have their pros and cons and I ride with them all so I definitely don't want any failures, it ruins everybodys day or weekend.

I hope that everybody absolutely loves their Pro and they show signs of improved reliability. I also hope that the Etec delivers just the same. I just had to go a different direction with my time and money. My wife was telling me to go buy a new sled over a year ago but I am stubborn. Funny huh, having your wife begging you to go buy a new sled.

Think you could get her to talk to my wife??? want a new Pro so bad but Momma says no!!!!

You spend as many hours as I did in the garage and you wife will give you the go ahead, I promise.

I had to make a promise we would start on a house remodel next summer....now to plan on how to get out of that!!!

I think it's bad karma to hope the other brands burn down. I'm sure nobody is doing just that. It just sucks that an issue blows up into so many others here on the 4M. It would be nice if we always had the truth so that we could determine what lead to the issue, how to fix it and avoid it.
