Hahahaha you guys crack me up!! let's just say I'm going to have a compression tester data sheet already planning on filling in the initial compression when she gets uncrated!
i know how you feel. i picked up a 14 Freeride and after stewing on it for a month I decided to back out and keep my cat. Mostly for the money reasons but this should be the last year on the cat and if the 14's aren't great and there isn't a DSI800 next year i'll get a 15 freeride.
Polaris motors are getting better all three of my buddies made it over 1500 last year without an issue and were on the same belt. I don't buy into the internet hype iwe use these machines hard and almost daily in the winter reality is reality and I hope the best for you 14 cat guys but do not have faith or I would be on one.....
You are not the only one to leave. I also did not have faith that they fixed the issue. That is why I sold my 2012 High Country and will be riding a SkiDoo 800BCX. I also hope the improvements work out for everyone in 2014.
