Weights of new mtn sleds

I'm probably the least brand loyal customer when it comes to buying snowmobiles, dirt bikes, vehicles, etc. Give me a a decent product at a decent price and you'll only get my loyalty until I'm ready to buy again and start shopping.

That being said-I don't have anything against Yamaha. In fact I've owned some of their dirt bikes, but I rarely if ever see anyone riding a Yamaha when I'm out riding my snowmobile in CO. Pretty funny retort someone had about "going higher up on the mountain', but seriously I may see one or two a year.

I think most people just don't want a heavy 4 stroke sled for mountain riding. I think all of the sled manufacturers have come a long way in the past couple years and Yamaha may appeal to a very specialized customer base, but will never have mass appeal. I think the Yamaha riders are kind of like the flat Earth crowd. They're always trying to convince people of what a great sled it is, but no one is listening.

Part of the appeal is riding a sled the majority of riders can't. I love taking my 4- stroke and putting it places my 2- smoke freinds say it can't go, and then when the snow really deep and they get stuck I ve got the horse power to go right on past them.

Really

So you ARE a flatlander... LOL

Who else would be fool enough to think a Yammi is a better mountain sled...

Bring it out Sally, school is open! Should be a fresh 18+ by Tuesday, snowing on the mountain right now.

You are on the by far the worst mtn chassis out there if you have "upgraded" to the vipercat. If you are still on an older real Yammi chassis, that pig is good for nothing but hillclimbs. Last I checked, nobody cared who could point and pin it, my grandma can do that.

I want to see your 650lb tank show me up stud... Since you are dreaming, you can tell me how great it is in the trees...

Funny you want to be schooled by your wife too, better get her a Yammi too so she doesn't embarrass the sh1t out of you on a real mtn sled...

Do you have any idea how ridiculous you sound???

You should bring your sled and skills to revelstoke.
There's some guys there that ride all the sleds you say are no good that would love for you to try follow them around!!!
I'm sure they'd make you a friendly wager.

My weiner is bigger than yours,,,, LOL

I love these "my weiner is bigger than yours", "I can go higher thany ou", "You cant hang with me in the trees", "Your gonna be so tired at the end of the day", "My brand is better than yours" threads........

I have seen dozens of these threads through the years, and it almost always progresses like this through the thread:

1. Someone posts some good information
2. Then someone makes a dumb remark about this brand or that brand
3. Then someone else gets butt-hurt and then invites someone to come out
to his turf and try to show up that rider (Which nobody has actually taken anybody up )
4. Then there is a flatlander comment thrown in
5. A little more posting back and forth about this brand or that brand
6. Then, thankfully the thread fizzes out.

Hopefully this one will follow that familiar historical recipe
