Weight, Nytro vs Apex????

Come on guys, I know they are HEAVY but is there an advantage with the Nytro now? I could have sworn I read about a 90lb wieght reduction for this model, what gives?

I can't believe nobody knows, somebody must have had a Nytro on a scale right? How does it compare with the Apex?

The Nytro MTX holds approx 3 less gallons of fuel (20 lbs.) and has a 155" 15" wide track opposed to a 162" 16" wide on the Apex. Realistically probably a 35-40 pound difference between the two with comparable fuel capacities and track sizes.

The nytro has a 153 x 15 NOT a 155. There are many other diferrences including, a completely diferrent chasis and tunnel.

Those are wet weights i have personally seen. You can make your own guess on the weight difference in tracks.

I don't know what the numbers are, but the Nytro feels about half the weight of an Apex when you ride it!

because it is lighter it does not require a 16'' by 162'' track to float. with a shorter track and less weight it doesn't need as much hp to perform the same.

To me it feels about 100 lbs lighter, when I'm on that nytro I don't even realize how heavy it it, I think it's just awesome to throw around. Apex now on the other hand come on
