It has been raining steady here in Heber since before 6 AM.... Seriously not a single break....solid rain and still raining. Crazy! The snow has got to be piling up in the mountains around here and I won't even be able to ride.

So what has the weather been like in your area?

Sometime during the night it switched over to snow. I don't think it stopped though. Didn't sleep well and every time I looked out it was still coming down. I don't think I have ever seen it rain/snow this consistently in Utah.

Rained all day Sunday and most of the day Saturday up Parley's. We had to get above Lambs before it turned into snow. Seriously srewing up my dad cow elk hunt.

Didn't sleep well and every time I looked out it was still coming down.

Non stop riding makes me sleep like a baby.................

WET is right, thankfully, usually we don't get this kind of base till mid April....when its wet like this it tends to settle faster as well, hopefully we can get some cold smoke towards the end of this firehose cycle to make riding conditions better then ever! Nobody be dumb and ride the hills till things settle down.
In case you didn't notice the Avy danger in Provo area mtns (AKA area 51) is BLACK!!! I haven't seen it that bad since 2005 and we all remember what happened over the holidays in 2005. Play it safe.

I left Timberlakes (7,500ft) Sunday morning and it was a HEAVY snow fall, down in Heber city that heavy snow was a heavy rain.

Between Friday night at 8:00 and Sunday morning at 7:00, our cabin got just over 2 feet of new powder and it was still snowing when I left.

rained here in SE Idaho all day yesterday, I looked at Tonys Grove Snotel and it's showing almost 2 feet in 2 days, not bad but I bet theres more then 2 feet new up there.

Nope 6K and above just got a bunch of fluffy white, nothing really accumulated below about 7.5K though.

Rode today. About 4' of new over the past week at my cabin! 2-3' of heavy, wet snow with about a foot of pow. Kind of crazy to ride in. The higher we got the better it was.
