WE Spring adjuster stripped? Won't turn?

Same thing happened to me last week. The adjuster got so stuck we had to cut it off with the dremel. No dealer close to me had part#1800046 in stock, had to order online and borrow some extra shocks from a buddy to even make it out last weekend. Really hoping the the new adjuster will even re-thread back onto the shock. If not... maybe its time for a shock upgrade

my buddies had the same issue... Softened them up but then the retaining rings on the bottom jumped out while riding, luckily they were found..... When we went to tighten things backs up the threads stripped... He broke his tool and my raptor shock tool saved the day.

The left side shock is completely stripped, I have no idea how its not just sliding around honestly
