Anyone agree? I have to drive for ever to get my sled into a shop every other brand has a shop within 10 min. Anyone know why ss stoped their dealership? Or why ski-doo dose not have one in the bntfl area?

45 minute drive for me to Fast Track or Tri City.
Tough time to own an ATV type business. That's why we've seen so many fail and close their doors this year. Some guys that live out in the sticks have to drive hours. Better change brands and buy what you can get serviced if you don't like to drive.
Not going to get any better for a while.:(

Where I grew up it was at least an hour to any snomwobile shop, and even further if you wanted to have any of the big 4 serviced. If you have the time and knowledge and patience do it yourself.

I bought my Dragon at Triple S in Ogden because they hooked me up with a trade in. I have had my sled serviced exclusively at Tri City. Now the big fix comes out and Tri City tells me "we will update your's after we get all of the ones we have sold updated". Triple S called me up the other day and said to bring mine in to get it updated. Why can't any Polaris dealer order the parts for the update regardless of how many of that model year they have sold? I don't want to drive the 30 miles to bring mine in because Polaris screwed up again, I want to drive 10 minutes on side streets and frontage roads.

What do you need done to your Doo?

Heck I would love to have a Cat dealer in the layton area!:(
Buy most my parts from Oregon and do the work myself!

I agree with Ron....we are having tough times. However, I think a Doo dealership in South Davis County would make it! I also think Scott would do well to move his Cat dealership off Redwood Road to the area by Full Throttle and Tri-City. I have been told by some dealers that BRP is hard on their dealers. They make them take product they don't really want and is hard to sell. Ironically, BRP is up 9% in the states and 11% in Canada (I think those figures are accurate, according to a very reliable source.)

It not that I need stuff done, But I know a guy who has some money backing him and was interested in opening a dealership and I told him to look at a BRP dealer. Like Kim said in this area I think it would work and it would be nice to have a doo shop right with every other shop. I had no idea the cat dealer was on redwood till last year.
