i guess i can start posting pics now that im on the right track
i have built this and wrecked it twice, so third times the charm i hope

heres the start several years ago

had a crease in the tunnel and twisted bulkhead but put it togather just to break cmx belts i guess
built motor

built chassis

popped it first run

rebuilt it

had it dialed pretty good but kept breakin cmxds belts had to tow out of top of the world and really took care of the chassis into a flowing river bank haha
chopped the tunnel and boards up for a different project

threw the motor in my buddy old 1200 gen 11 chassis while waiting for parts

didnt like that chassis and couldnt get my cmxds in since it was previously dropped and rolled
got my new PAR edge tunnel

bulkhead on

cut out for mag clearance

cmxds drop and roll holes

installed

filled some holes

little premature polish

some drop brackets im not useing now

cooler installed

front suspension half way assembled with custom homade titanium bolts, wimpy rods, qa1 aluminum rod ends and zero pros. iused the taller xc shock tower mount so i will end up having to recut my pipes

12 pro suspension mached up and then rebuilt with ice age rails, antistab, and ce components billet wheels

didnt like how it sat so i took out the rear and remounted the backer plates and built new drop brackets
left side corrected

went to put my track in and had forgotten to adjust the drivers for the wider tunnel. guess ill have to float out to work tomarrow to use the press

Finished cutting my cross shafts for the wider tunnel. Turned nylon spacers to take up the difference.

Got the cmxds assembled and the steering post in with a "lightened" post spacer haha just couldn't stand how it was a chunk. Cut it down with a dremel took forever! Was waiting for the nylon anyway

Well got it all up on its own feet finally and the front end all locked down

Then found thist little $*&%*# problem

just set it in to see if the pipes still fit with the changes, and its close no major changes.

The PTO seal is the same as the 00' through 05' big block 800.

What chassis are you using? I have a genII motor mount plate and some worn out pipes you might be able to fix. Well they don't need fixing quiiite yet

Thanks Wade, guys are just using 600 HO or 900 reeds right? Josh I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it just yet. I do have an old gen 2 sitting in the shop that I might use or I'm thinking of an IQR chassie if I could find a decent one, not to many of them around here tho. Got some pics of your parts?

No brainer I'd say haha

"Fixed" my motor plate too

I over welded the blocks and warped the plate. Pressed the bends out then milled the faces to true them back. Oops

My last two backordered rod ends showed up a month early as well so I can be totally done with the front here tonight.

Where did you get the crank?

originally i got it at haydays. it was across the isle till the last day and i bought it as he was packin up for $350. it rolled good. it was the start of the whole project and i ran it as it was.
on this disassembly i heard some noisy bearings and had 1200psi and turbotater do work on it to true it up. its good to go now!
