Blackfoot Pride Days. Usually the first weekend in June with a bunch of other stuff like car show, skate comp., etc... Didn't do it last year since I switched to the Doo. They haven't had the best rep for stayin afloat with the ported tracks so didn't even risk it. I can't remember the guys name that organizes it but I think you can get on blackfootpridedays.org or some similar website for the contact info. Bring some cash cause it's a little spendy. They used to do $60 for the first class entered, then $50 for each class after that. They do pay out top 3 spots and you get a shirt with a bunch of sponsors on it. Any class with 8 or more guys 1st place should for sure pay back more than the entry fee. Most years had 700 stock/mod, 800 stock/mod, 1000 stock/mod, and open. Just depends on what sleds show up to actually make a decent class. They also usually run an exhibition 'oval' race at the end of the day which is sick!! I won it a few years ago when they did 3 laps and let me say 'TOTAL ADRENALINE RUSH' I think only 2 out of 6 of us actually made the whole race. I had a great time running my dragon but will probably just spectate again this year. Getting rooms shouldn't be too hard I wouldn't think. If anything just drop down to pocatello for way more options. 20 min drive and you're there. Should be awesome if it's sunny and the wind stays way down. Usually a couple thousand people lining the beach cheering you on. Hope to see you there.
