Well Im not rich so I ride performance mountaineering gear and last you I will have to say with as little riding I did I was not impressed. So I decided to try a new product. We'll see if it works, for 4 bucks a can not bad.

I think he did that and somebody stole it.:face-icon-small-dis

I've used KIWI's Camp Dry on my RU Outside boots and it worked great after a couple coats.

I looked at That stuff but this stuff said you wouldn't have to re-coat, so i went with it. I will say not a good idea to do in the basement with okay ventilation and the drier going next to the ac intake. Hopefully my wash and house will smell better soon or Jamie will be very upset.

Used it before but it's been awhile so I can't recall how well it lasted. But at 4 bucks a can if you have to respray every couple rides it ain't so bad.

Right now I am a huge fan of SnoSeal for anything leather. Applied to my boots for the street bike and have walked in water, rode in rain, etc and the water just beads up and goes away.

Another thought for a budget (cause I'm on a huge tight budget) is to go check out the Bargain Cave at Cabelas....The Cabelas brand Guide Gear crap is Gore and works. They have uninsulated coats and maybe bibs( I think the wet weather fishing type stuff or just general rain gear is where you'd find it). I've been rocking a pair of the bibs with 100 grams of thinsulate for the last 5 or 6 years sledding, fishing, and general outside in winter stuff. I picked them up for under 160 and I wanna say closer to 100 and I think retail is close to 250.

Still not cheap but cheaper then Klim and it has Gore-Tex, and if Klim is gonna keep sucking on warranty why not buy almost the same thing for way cheaper.
