Water drags in IONE

The water drags are this weekend in Ione If you have never attended or been part of it what a blast. I hear there are some turboed sleds(apex,cat 1,000s and a 800 poo) Trying to knock my 1200 off this year , We'll see what happens. Ione here come the Troy Boyz. See every one there.

There will be lots, video too. And helmet cam footage of me jumping a '89 Jag 440 into the river topped out.

Brought home the first in open class. What a blast,it's just fun being around all the people and seeing the enthuiasm. There were about 20 more riders than normal this yearWe had a big breakfast at camp for any that wanted some and went to the races. And boy was it hot.

Took 1st in 700 improved. The Mountain Max does very good on the water, I had no competition all day untill I lined up against another Mountain Max.

Jumped the Jag 440 into the water, not enough power or track to ride it out.. Sunk after about 5 ft.

I took LOTS of pictures on the...other...forum, in the Spokane riders thread.

Heres me comin back across the river, and huckin the Jag off the jump.

I'll tell ya what X, I was ridin in Revy in June and at the Boulder Cabin there was a long water hole. I took the Nytro across it and hit the gas wide open. Scared the S**T outta me. I didn't realize how hard these sleds hook up on water. I think i'll leave the insane water cross to Larry.
