Washingtonians ... Let's help a local girl out!

Well Revy was BEAUTIFUL, my luck on the other hand, not so much!! I was REALLY looking forward to testing my sled out and doing some tuning on her. She's been running great and I was REALLY looking forward to getting her in TIP TOP form!! Well a few fun plays in the trees and having a great day. Sunshine is out, day is WARM, copmany is great. Yeee-hawww!!! UNITL.... start her up and get the beep......beep....beep....beep....beeep. No engage from the tether. WHAT??!? We messed with it for hours, tried everything, tried warming it up, tried cooling it down, tried unplugging everything, plugging everything in.... ugh. We tried everything and no luck... Had to get a tow out... GRRRRR!!! For a freaking TETHER!!!

Made it out in time to get to TurboAl's shop and he had the BOTTOM portion of the tether. He said often those do go bad. So I try it, it works. I wire it up, it still works. I'm back in BIZ!!! head up to the hill, start it a few times unloading, running over to say hi to so and so ya know... She starts fine... SOON as i shut her off up on the mtn... nuthin... I was able to take it apart again and REALLY mess with it and get it to work enough to get me outta there and make tracks for home. What a WASTED trip!! However, the weather was great, I was with some good friends and I got a few cool lines up... So I guess not wasted...

Here is the link to some pics of the first few hours of play time... nuthin too 'extreme' in there -sorry to disappoint! ;)

Oh sheeesh ... that SUX Em. I learned my tether lesson over in your old hood my first season on a Doo. Always have a spare in my pack now. Never heard of the post going bad though  Luckily, when mine went I was already back at the truck ... if it would've happened way up towards Smithbrook, I would've lit it on fire and walked out; I hated my sled then!
