Warranty start on Snowchecks?

I thought I had read that 4 year warranty started on Snowchecks December 1st.Dealer told me it starts on day of pickup.Can anyone tell me different?

I didn't SNOWCHECK this year. But in the past, the rules were you warranty started the day you pick up your sled,pending it's before dec 1st. or Dec 1st regardless if you pick it up or it sits at the dealer.

Yes warranty typically starts the day that you take delivery of the machine.

Day you pick up your machine. My PRO is actually at the dealer now taking care of some warranty items before it expires on October 17th which was the day the sled was picked up.

Yes, the manufacturers want the dealer to register the unit within 72 hrs of pickup and the warranty begins upon registration.

What is to keep you from paying all but the last $1 to the dealer with a promise to pay/pickup the sled next month or december (whenever your snow starts flying)??

My dealer here in Utah said Polaris changed their warranty program, and all warranties will start on Dec 31st. I wasn't going to pick up the sled until they said that. Anyone else hear similar?

i have been told multiple times the warranty starts Dec 1st no matter when you pick it up.

as said above Decemember 1st...............
