warranty expiring, anything I should do???

My 08 xp warranty expires at the end this month. I think I have all the updates done, I am taking it in to the shop sometime in the next few weeks, I have a few issues for them to take care of, are there any other things that I should have checked out?

Also, I have have about 5 sleds over the past 10 years and never purchased and extended warranty, how much do they cost and do people think it's worth the cost? Based on my job and the economy it looks like I will be keeping this sled for at while. I had an 07 that was in the shop a million times before they replaced the engine, based on all the recalls and work that has been done on this one I am nervous about a big cost surprise down the road. That being said the sled rips and has been reliable so I am happy to keep it for another season or two.

When I purchased both my 08 and 09 I opted for the extended warranty. I got 4 years on top of the BRP 1 year for around 350 smackers. My dealer offdered 2 different warranties. The BEST plan (more expensive) and another plan that was cheaper but offered the same coverage. I can't remember the name, the paperwork is in my owners manual somewhere.
