there having problems with there rubber boots coming apart on the rev chassis ,called them this morning and they knew about the problem and did not put out a recall, this cost me a cylinder and piston on wed. and a 30 mile tow, they said they will warrenty any that are a year old and give a price break of 39.00 each for one older than a year, I think they should cover my repairs , mine were only a year old!!!!!

That fresh!! when the boots that came with the v-force reeds split on my '01 800, I couldn't even buy replacement boots DIRECT from Moto Tassinari. I had to buy the entire reed all over again. Anyone say RIPOFF??

Wow, good thing i didnt buy them...

I have been lucky though, i got almost 8000km out of my stock reeds on my 06 Ptek engine and they were still fine. But when i threw the turbo on i switched to boyesen rad valves because of the aluminum 'boot'

No way in hell thats going to seperate :D

Is their any performance gain by changing the stock reeds,or are you changing them because of failure ? Thanks Nick
