warning light

Hey and thanks in advance for any input. I am new to my doo this season and after a ride this week end I unloaded the sled today when I got it out of my truck the warning light was on. Hmm I said. never done that before any ways what does this light monitor so I can check into things. The thing had only been running long enough to back it out of my truck I then noticed it on. There was also no audible beep.

what warning light is it? (check engine, brake light,????)
what year of the sled?

sorry its an 05 renegade 800 its the exclamation mark light

exclamation light!

That lights up when the brake is on. I have also had it come on when the wires got wet. Hope that helps.

ahh gotcha I dont have a brake light or a brake light switch on my brake lever so could be a wet connection.
