WANTED: 151x15x2" or larger paddle track

When I bought my 04 Mountain Cat the person put a 1 5/8" lug track on it for more trail riding. Well, I don't trail ride, therefore I want to put the largest paddle/lug I can back on it.

I am not certain but I think most 151" tracks are interchangeable.

let me know what you have.

Thanks!!!

track...

Yes....to a point, tracks are interchangeable. You have to keep the same pitch as stock, or go to 3.0 pitch drivers. 2.52 is stock. You also want to watch the width...I believe some guys are running 16 wide, but it seems a little tight to me...especially with tunnel coolers in the sides of the tunnel...I do know that some guys love em though! I'm in the process of switching mine to an 09 M suspension, with a 153 PC with 3.0 extro's
Whatever you go with, good luck....there are lots of options!!:fencing:

I do have a "spare" track but it's a 162.....

Mines a 16" wide, it rubs on the suspension a bit but im told thats normal. Def notice the extra traction hill climbing (and def notice the added weight to the machine). Your side lugs may look a little like this:-

Oh yep. Yeah that makes since. I guess Ill keep that as an option if I get a good deal on it. I think I may have found what iIam looking for anyway. Tracks that are ported... good or bad?

Its really just a weight thing isnt it or does it have some negative effects?

Mines ported too, are you planning on buying my track without telling me??

i noticed my skid frame has a lot less snow in it when riding between boondocking areas, really had to watch to keep snow in it. enough that my buddy thought he could smell the plastic burning. noticed no diference in the powder though. track is lighter than my 144 i took out, the 151 has four ports across all the webs though. maybe a bit aggressive porting.
