want to get info on aftermarket hoods......

My sled was recently in an accident dodging some moose on the way to ride and I need to replace the hood. I am debating on what to get. I am thinking that since it needs to be replaced that I get one that is as light as possible. I don't really need a headlight, but would like a small one just in case. I'd like to see some pics of some aftermarket hoods with a factory headlight delete, but with a smaller headlight for back up. I don't want to just order one and not like it.

I appreciate the help.:face-icon-small-hap

I run a evans marine carbon hood, but that being said Id probably go with a diamond S mesh deal if I did it again. Light simple tough and no paint costs.

uhhh, for what sled?

Well, it's an 02, Edge 800 RMK.

I don't like the looks of the mesh hoods. I like to keep the stock "looking" hood. Just want to get something lighter than stock and loose the headlight and speedo. I'm looking for a hood that is easy to install and looks good. With the ability to add a small light just incase.

PM me for a pic. I just replace my mesh hood for a ltwt acrylic. I haven't mounted my "baby" headlt yet. Still waiting for an answer on identifying my Tach wire question thread.
