W.E Front Shock problem

Ok so I have never adjusted my front shocks before until tonight in the garage. Adjusted the left side just fine....... the right side galled after a few turns. So the question is, will Polaris warranty the shock or am I screwed? Or is there a good place to send it to be fixed? Next question? Anyone ran the Fox Float shocks on there PRO's. How do you like them?

Thanks for the info. I still have 3 years on my warranty. So anyone know if the will warranty the shock?

This happened to both of my front shocks last year on my 13. My dealer got both of them warrantied for me under my 4 year bumper to bumper warranty. Then before installing the new ones I put antisieze on all the threads. That's helped a lot so far.

Should be warranty if it's on bumper to bumper. It's an adjustable shock that got broken by adjusting it...pretty straightforward.

Tell your dealer to try harder.

This problem happens to damn near everyone it seems like...

My solution is applying anti seaze to the threads

The W.E. are just one step above the Doo HPG (ithink) which isnt much of a step. For what you pay for these sleds its too bad they cant put something beyond disposible on them. I wish i had the coin to drop on a real set.

So I called my dealer......which is Rexburg Motorsports. Now mind you I bought the sled from them and purchased the extra 3 years of what now seems worthless warranty. Bumper to bumper my a$$. Said he contacted the warranty company and shocks just happen to be a wear item. Seems to me it's a faulty shock, not abuse caused by rider. Damn I hope I don't ever really need them to go to bat for me. Of coarse I got the "well their really good about clutches, motors".....etc LOL I will be shopping here in the town I live next time. (Idaho Falls) Thanks for letting me rant.....guess I'll look into some aftermarket shocks or just snowcheck a 2015 from here in town.

Get ahold of Walker Evans customer service at 1-800-wee-race I have heard of several who has had this happen, and they came through, either full replacement or charging the cost of a rebuild (around $60) and fixing or replacing the shock body and adjuster nut.

Yep, I just dealt with this a few months ago. Pretty common. Sent them to WE for a repair for cost of rebuild+shipping. However, if your in warr, you should not have to pay for a rebuild to get this fixed IMO.... Pol really seems to have horrible warr process, unless its the common engine/clutch failures.

I love the Pro chassis, but I would not buy a new Pol due to its reliability and warranty claim issues.
