The conditions looked great but there isn't much of a base yet. We mostly blasted around and avoided anything too far off the road. Not nearly as good of conditions as last year at this time. Good news is that it pretty much dumped the whole time we were there.

This is one of the higher up spots...I can't say where though, it's a secret

Lucky bastage! I just drove over Vail pass yesterday morning with SnowBigDeal to get his new M8 and that place didn't have near that much snow. Thanks for the pic.

Is that the Ptarmigan side? If so we avoided that area because of the tree stumps. If you've ever been up there in the summer you would know what I mean.

1st meadow on the left, past the trestle on Corona Pass. Not sure of the name? but it's not stumpy, just a few big rocks hear and there.
