Have heard of this a couple times now. They both said mid climb the sled basically went into a neutral mode and wouldnt move? Apparently unhooking and rehooking some sort of electrical connector resets this other wise the sled is stuck?

What is actually happening?

There is only three ways for it to be in "neutral", the only electric way would have to be in the reverse

There is a service bulletin for the 2014 models that will correct this issue. The 2015 model will come standard with the updated actuator support.

RAcinstation nailed it, there is a new splined insert for the chain case with a notch, spring and block. They prevent the actuator from over rotating and going into a neutral mode. Takes about five minutes and yamaha covers it. I recommend you get it done before something has a chance to break in there because it can and will happen if not taken care of, once replace all is good.

Had this happen in the first 100miles. Actuator is junk. Update fixed the problem and haven't had any issues since. I was able to put it in reverse then back in forward and was able to ride it down

As said above the update is out and been installed some time ago. If this happens to one not updated for some reason simply engeage reverse and go back to forward.
