Viper primary clutch rollers...

OK, so I might not have had to replace them, but what the hell! I am pretty sure I ordered the correct OEM parts, but when i looked at the new rollers - they are about a 1/16 of an inch small (in diameter). Anybody run into this before? Have my original ones expanded? Or did I get the wrong ones? pretty sure i bought the ones from a mtn. viper.

Here's the info if anybody can help -

03 Viper Mountain - mostly original (engine and clutches anyways)

Part I ordered...
8CR-17624-00-00 ROLLER, COMP MH (8EN1) <-- model of Mtn. Viper
The other one available...
8CR-17624-20-00 ROLLER, COMP H (8EK3) <-- model stamped on my engine

they are about 20 bucks a piece, so if i ordered the wrong ones - i'd like to get the right ones!

Any help? Thanks!

Yamaha makes 4 diffrent size rollers. I beleave yamaha uses the bigger rollers on the mountain sleds? It wont hert to run a smaller roller, but you have to watch if you go with a bigger roller, because your belt squish clearance will get tighter!

take a close look at your old rollers and the new rollers. 00-00 should have a groove and a machine mark. 20-00 will have no markings. the 00-00 will grab the belt quicker and is better for trees and off trail. these should have been stock in a mtn sled. shouldnt really notice a whole lot of difference between the two, unless your hard riding trails or drag racing. 14.6 od vs 15.6 od.
