Surprisingly enough they’re still priced ok for the used market (holding a little value) . Kinda surprised really but they haven’t fallen completely on their face. Doesn’t give me confidence to buy a new 858 though. There’s two local sitting. That said their are 20+ 24 Polaris’s too. Haven’t been to skidoo’s shop yet lol.
There is a guy trying to sell an 858 154 3" on Facebook Marketplace for 18750 with lots of extras that has 13 miles and 1.3 hours on it. I believe he's just trying to get what he owes out of it. I think I read he's got ES and a lightweight battery, finger throttle, and a big wheel kit too. So, I thing you are right about the confidence. Perhaps a sell off has begun?
Man there is so much speculation on weather or not it’s just changing hands or if it’s going to just die. I actually love my 600 catalyst and I would totally buy another one and I’d buy a 858 in a few years but now it seems like a real bad idea. They need to be more forward with their communication. Country cat posted that they thought it was just a pause. That’s not how it feels. We shall see?!
My buddy loves his 858 and he's had zero issues. Like most things that happen to first year sleds, it gets amplified online. I rode it after adjustments. I could ride that sled.

If it doesn't get bought out with some serious investment us used owners will be so screwed. Ive run into several issues finding twin spar chassis parts last year, prior to covid supply was good but now parts are discontinued.
