VI-PEC results from my turob'd RMK PRO 8700 ft. ride.

Not doubting anything that's being said, the vi-pec will be the ultimate tuning tool when people get it figured to run flawless. What I don't get is why it's so hard for someone to get some helmet cam footage of the dash?? Say egt's, track speed, rpms. That would keep a lot of skeptics at bay and I'm sure it would help sell a few units

We'll have one running tomorrow on Skadi's HM turbo and i promise I'll make a video of it being tuned in and running. We will be starting it up in the am.

are you trying to get some egt's,rpm, afr infos for your own needs??(joke!!) but see what i mean.........we have put a lot of time into this and there is some "stuff" we keep for us! get an ECU and records tons of videos if you want , we or our dealer will take care of you and tune your sled dead on.

We are not asking you to share you're tuning "secrets", wouldn't expect anyone to give out info that they have put a great deal of time into. Me personally would consider a stand alone ecu for my next sled once proven. We run efi live in quite a few of our trucks, and its hard to find anything that compares tuning wise. I am happy to see people using this technology in sleds, now other company's will step up and in the end we all end up with better running turbos. That is what everyone wants. Now what I am asking is just for some proof of these claims, 118mph in 7 secs, 12500 rpm and so on. Not saying that it's not happening, just looking for proof. It's hard to justify the cost by just going on someone's word.

there is already lots of those ecu on the snow, you will encounter a vipec sled in a short time for sure, have a look at it and test drive and call us or post on here after.
on the 15-16-17-18 we will be in cooke for a vi-pec test ride weekend if you want to come and test one i will gladely accomodate.

What if the rpm were 12,500???

Why would you want to run a two stroke twin a 12500 rpm? IMO the thing would grenade and the primary would not last long after a prolong period of time.. Was this just something you were playing with for the day or you plan on running this in the mountains? By the way your supra is fricken bad azz!:face-icon-small-coo

Thanks for the invite and I would really like to throw a leg over a vipec run turbo. Only problem is that I live in northern Alberta. If anyone has one of these bad boys running around revy or the valemount area let me know I would gladly make a trip down to ride one.

Spent the day getting a boost map built in the field at the house. Holy hell this sled is ripping WAY harder than ever! Truely can not belive how the bottom end feels. Its by far the most snappy sled I've ever rode.......AND ITS A TURBO! still more fine tuning to do. This sled has never ran that well on the bottom.

Thought that was gonna be really hard but after spending a hour or so with Jake and Gino on the phone its actually really easy to do this. Vipec has truely done a amazing job with designing this program. Already I know this is been the right choice. If anyone ever gets a chance to ride one or with one ya better make sure you can afford it cuz you'll want it on your Turbo too. Also I've never played with any ecu programs or data logging before and its already making Sence.

Soooo excited to see what this does for my machine! Like D said the bottom end is already SOOOO amazing!!! I can't wait to have a snappy bottom end like a stocker (actually, even SNAPPIER than it was at stock!) and then a top end that goes for days!! Going to be the best of both worlds for sure! Plus a turbo that I don't have to mess with all the time? Ohhh, I'm gonna be a happy girl!!

I was in the house trying to figure out some computer issues while D was tuning in the field. It seriously sounded like a drag strip out there. He has it tuned up to about 7800 now and everything up to that point is SPOT ON so it sounds just WICKED as he brings it up and works on tuning the higher Rs... Pretty cool!!

Huge thanks to Jake with Mild 2 Wild and Gino for the support we've gotten with this thing. We pushed the envelope in getting it so we knew we might have a little extra work to do with it but they have been with us every step of the way!!

I had to leave town for work so D gets the pleasure of the first ride on this machine (but I get to come home to a RIPPIN sled and I can't WAIT to ride it!!)

This weekend we logged 200kpa and a max EGT of 520C, IAT maxed at 57C with our air to water intercooler, all around 12:1 AFR. I'd say things are working great.....

Injector duty came in at a whopping 32% at 45psi base pressure. I'd post some videos, but I'd rather not get flamed!!!

Still a little bit of clutch work to do and the damn track started ratcheting so we'll fix that for next week......

The only downside I can see to the logging internally at this point is you're unable to change what gets logged. So at this point I'm able to see Wastegate duty since it's pinned in Aux 7. Of course who knows if most guys will use the ECU to control boost so this may not matter for the masses....

That and I cannot stand that you can't communicate with the ECU unless the sled is running so I've got to rig up some sort of battery for the sled.

I'm not planning nor have I ran the sled at 12,500 rpm. But when people you can't do this and that with certain things, they just have to weigh in all the factors that lead to top speed. RPM is certainly one of them.

Thanks for the comments about the Supra, it's definitely a blast to drive. I'd love to make my sled as fast as it one day LOL.......

It could not have been 12500
