I removed the hoses and put caps over the stems on my VES valves and solenoid, and I dont know if since then but im only pulling 7800 rpms. Serviced the clutches and same thing happening, im running 64 weights but suppose to be running 66s compared to others. Im going to put the hose back on to see and if its the cause change the ves springs to compensate or else run 62g weights. Anyone else notice this if they did the same thing??? I also am running a ultimax belt that seems stickier than the polaris.

Likely it's the belt.

Exhaust valves are fully open on top end either way.

Plugging the solenoid/hoses affects the bottom and mid-range, not top end.

But, if you want to be absolutely certain to convince yourself, just plug the hoses back into the solenoid and take it for a run.

Thanks! i thought i would pm you but you helped anyways. I changed everything all at the same time but never noticed what dropped them. I know it had 62s and was revving high with the polaris belt and 66s were too much and happened to blow the polaris belt, maybe 64s were all i needed but now with the stickier belt ill go back to 62s. If you only say the valves effect the bottom ill leave it at that. I also have no clue on the condition of the springs, the guy that serviced the primary didnt change the spring so i think ill change both incase they are lazy but he said it seemed good.
