Hilly, I would bet that we are taling about a hour install. Take longer to take the hood off and get it back on. Kit will likely consist of complete new post and that tripod assembly. The tripod assembly appears to mount to into the bolt that mounts the upper spars. It is allso possible that it may even come with the entire top plate. I could see this being the strongest option and will have new pockets for the new tripod to mount into.

Ok I am done speculating. I would guess a max of an hour to install. And should be pretty basic. I think I could do the 38" stance in 2 hours.
