Vertical Height of '13 Seat

How does the vertical height of the '13 seat compare to the 2011/12 RMK seat? And does it feel like you are going to fall off the back all the time? I know you guys don't sit down a lot, but I'm doing more of a flat land distance sled and I'm curious if it's worth switching to this seat to give me more tunnel space.

Ha just playing... The 13's I've rode I didn't notice. I believe the height dropped a little. A passenger would be near impossible.

I swithced mine for the 13 seat. Like it much better. Seat is a little wider where it needed it. I am only 5'8" so I don't need much seat length. I don't miss the long banana seat at all. the seat height feels the same. I never felt comfortable on the narrow banana seat.

Careful not to load the extra tunnel with to much weight. I think 15LBS max. Put it as close to the seat as possible.

Ha ha. Yeah, I know. I probably stand half of the time but I'm not riding the mountains like you guys, I sit when crossing smooth lakes or other smooth terrain that I don't need a lot of body english for. And I don't want the seat to be too low as I'm 6'3" and a low seat will make it more tiring to transition to standing over and over.

As far as weight, I know, I do have some rails that are giving me some extra strength right now (I usually carry about 25# now, so far so good) but looking into doing some braces from AKSNOWRIDER to help with that issue. The '13 seat might help as it looks to me like I could get the weight even further forward on the tunnel than it is now.

I think the height difference is minimal. The 12 seat has a round to it. For 13 its as if they took where it starts rounding and flattened it all the way across. May be an inch or two difference. Im 6'1" and it didn't feel much different. A little squishier and more comfortable.
