I know, I know....... AIR FLOW = GOOD! :D

Show some pictures of what you did on your sled, I'm looking for ideas.
I want to get some good flow, but am concerned about where the best places are and if it's true what all the vent manufacturers say, " No snow will get past our vents"
My sled stats are in my signature, I have a SLP Airbox

SLP has a kit with one vent in the shock tower area and another above the running boards.
2Cool has the huge side panel vents
And numerous others products.

Whats did you put on and what does it look like?

i dint have pics but i have the same sled and i run the slap shock tower vents. i had a post out there just like this one and most said i had enough venting on my sled wit having those and the slp air box.:beer;:beer;

my 900 pic is on 2 cool's website. Go check it out. I think that is the biggest bang for your buck.
When cutting out the side vents, use a circle drill and just drill a bunch of smaller holes.

here are some pics of my 900 with venting..

Side panel vents are Longtracks Edge Vents (no-longer available)
(not on BLACK HOOD, old hood with dash) Dash Vents are Mo-Flo Vents http://moflowvents.com/polarisdragonpr.html (note my sled in pic ;))
(not pictured) FNI HiFlo shock vents (for 09 front end only)

FNI makes great stuff, get with nmmiles..he is a FNI dealer and will get you good prices..

Also try Mountainfit Hoods Shock Vents AND Side Panel Vents...Great flow, quality and price for sure.. http://stores.homestead.com/williammoore/StoreFront.bok

i am not a fan of small holes in the plastic behind it...if you can cut straight and clean...and know where NOT to cut for strength..it will last a long time..

here is some pics of my sled, and my side panels with matching holes in heat shield and dash..

975 Polaris iq vented out!

Here's what i did with my 975.

Never have to many vents on a sled, more air less weight.

I added:
Sno Skinz hood vent kit $150
2-Cool Custom printed side vents $120
2-Cool Hood Pillow Vents $30
Custom FST Snow Skinz Front Center hood vent - drilled out hood $80
Mtn Fit headlight blockout - small drill holes - prefilter on back side $50
XXX ModRod shock tower vent clutch side $20

$450 later i have no clutch temp issues, ran same belt all last season. Sled runs cooler temps, shaved about 10 pounds off the sled between hood, heatshield, light, drilled out plastic, etc.

I recommend venting and best bang for buck being shock tower clutch side, 2-cool side vents to start off....

Good Luck - pm any questions
