Vent Kit Installed

Ordered this up from Bill at Mountain Fit Hoods. Awesome guy and this 5 piece kit comes complete with left side tower, and right and left side triangles and right and left side back vents. The clutch side has slp material so no powder comes in. Comes with all rivets, washers and it is very well made. $65.00 US.

Just a word of advice, I would ditch the clutch guard and let it breath. I would also heat up the side panels and cut out the plastic with a utility knife. You might as well put those vents to work vs having those small holes let the hot air out.

Doo still can't figure it out ....yet!

With all the vent kits available its still obvious Doo still hasn't got the basics of keeping a belt cool dialed in yet....These guys still have a long way to go especially with the way belts get eaten by Doo's.

Thanks, no I have had an 03-2500km, 05-4000km and 07-2300km rev and just got 100km on my new 09 and never had a belt fail. They have all gone around 1400km-1600km

All mountain riding. We were busting into the upper lake yesterday at Triconi and it was super deep and my clutch and belt looked new. The vent kit works awesome...keeps it totally cool in there. I am glad I got it...I do take it easy for a bit on a new belt but not for long...the kit from mountain fit hoods is easy to install and i think has a good look to it but not too concerned for the look more to just keep it cool in there...
