Anybody road ride Vail Pass this week? I have a new Cat I need to break in an engine on, enough snow to stay out of the dirt on the roads?

on Monday the road from the parking lot only had 3" of coverage with hunters driving on it.

Once you got up top, there was maybe 10" on ave. Then storm didn't add much (2") from what i hear. Be safe.

Ya the forest service needs their S jumped for not making this information public about an opening "Date"

They have contacts within the CSA who would've GLADLY did their footwork and got the word out. These tickets issued really aren't cool at all

Any updates on the conditions from today? My buddy managed to get a hold of a condo for next weekend and I'm hoping it will be worth going

Just got back, snow was way better than I expected. Better than a road ride but need to be careful.

Rode vp Sunday. Decent coverage. Exceeded expectations, but not worth going off trail til you get to the upper meadows off lime creek. Bottomless p there. ,Rasheed 125 cm of base in the upper upper meadow. Not too bad. Parking lot a ****show. No FS = o plowing. Saw a few newbies come down to parking lot with broken a arms.
