Vail Pass

Gmiller, how was spring creek?

I rode VP this afternoon for a few hours.
The trail was decent but most everything else was very bony to say the least.
The trail from the parking lot out to machine gun ridge area is closed due to no snow. Red cliff trail is open and shrine bowl is open. The majority of shrine bowl has slid down bare and has about 2" of dust on it.
I still had a blast being that this was my first day out this year.

It wasn't anything special, but there was some snow. About a foot of fresh, stumps and rocks still just under the snow. Here are some pictures...

Gmiller how was the trail in and out thats always the worst part.

Not bad at all. Plenty along the edges to keep the sleds cooled off. Lots of trees down along the way but otherwise its an easy ride to the good stuff.
