took my dragon to my dealer today ,had him check the reeds had a 1/2 inch piece missing i put my stock reeds back in anyone else seeing this ?

This has been mentioned on here quite a bit. I suspect it has something to do with the fact that fuel no longer contacts the surface for cooling. Pretty much just controlling a charge of air and being exposed to constant motor heat.
The stock cages are all but a V force rip off anyway. I doubt you will notice much difference going back to stock.
Maybe I'm way off base on this.

Friend of mine just had Vforce put in along with his turbo. First day out the reeds were broke.

Had them in for one season my son told me they were having problems pulled them and noticed the edges were gone and my pistons were scored one week later had to rebuild top end.

Yes the V-force will not hold up in the new Dragons it is the new injection system, the reeds are very dry now, and when they vibrate on the cage dry it starts them cracking and them snap!!. I went with Carl's advice and put in the carbon tech reeds in my stock cage and have had good luck. have about 600 miles on the new 860 and they still look like new!!

Just my two penny's

Yep. The small block CFI's don't seem to like the v-force reeds. My buddies 860 got about 500 miles on em.
