Ya, this year I finally broke down and got a sled...best purchase I've ever made! I finally realized what all the hype was about with snowmobiling! I used to have fun goofing around on trails and popping off in the powder occasionally, but after riding this sled in 3+ feet of powder and being able to go ANYWHERE for miles on end never having to cross a track, well, I'm hooked! I'll definitely get another XP next year, as long as my hands are back to normal.

2006 Apex - approx 380 miles, lot's of aftermarket stuff - $6500 OBO

Powderclaw track(100 miles), Boss 2009 HiRise flatbottom (100 miles), TJ 2009 under tunnel exhaust (100 miles), Gen II's (100 miles), Gravity Worx 2" riser. lefty, tether, belly plate, 2cool vents, 2 craiggerbuilt quick release base's on tunnel, all rear plastic/tail light removed, LED tail light, all foam removed from engine compartment, all maintenance/oil change, etc done 100 miles ago, Skinz removable hand guards, probably some other stuff that I have forgotten. '06 Summit X 151, black and yellow, 827 and stock 800 motors available

I have an '06 Summit X Black and yellow 151", 2500 miles on the chassis.
It currently has an RKTEK 827 in it, 900 miles on the 827, 300 miles on the current set of pistons.
Runs strong no problems. It has a vent kit, yellow belly pan and lite weight SKINZ can. I replaced the pistons at the beginning of the season because Kelsy at RKTEK recomends that. I have the first set of pistons and they look fine.
I am considering putting the stock motor back in it and trading it in on an '09 Summit X.
The dealership is giving me $4800 for the sled stock. If someone wants to beat that I'm listening.
I currently have a guy that wants the 827 motor for $1800.
If someone wants the sled with the 827 in it I'd sell it for $6000.
If you want the stock motor I'd sell that for $1700.
Both motors would be complete minus elecrical and carbs.
To save me a little labor and time I'd even consider selling just the RKTEK 827 top end or the stock top end, (head, rave valves, cylinders, pistons etc.)


I'd just thought I would post it here and see what happens.
