using an XP154" track on a REV chassis

I would like to put a 2008 XP 154" track on my 04 Rev 800 136", any ideas of what might be needed ? I have heard that possibly the track pitch has been changed, any one done this yet???

you dont need a new bumper, also you dont need new gearing. you probably going to want to change it but you dont need it.

Your going to need 2.86 pitch drivers. TracksUSA is the only place that has them for the Rev right now and once they're sold out you'll have to order the whole jackshaft assembly....over $300....not really sure why ski doo is doing this.
Going from a 136 to 154 is a big step, I'd get some Iceage rails and not even mess with rail extentions.
Van Amburg has a sweet tunnel extension for the rev or you can go with a factory extension but it won't look as trick.
If your stock gearing is 19/45 then your golden otherwise you'll have to regear.

I would recommend just switching to a 151" or 159", you'll save yourself a lot of headaches and money. The difference between a 151 and 154 are pretty minimal as far as track length. The 154 is MAYBE an inch longer that a 151, and I doubt youll notice that extra inch.

Go to www.alssnowmobile.com and you can get the 2.86 drivers extro. drivers
on a shaft for under 100.00. Skidoo had them on their 2006 mxz race sleds.
So pull yours out and put this one in. I put a 2009 163 on my 2006 rev with als setup went real easy.

07 ski-doo race drivers are the ones I used. 2.86 pitch

Wahl Bros racing has the drivers. Thats where we got them. No need to buy a driver shaft :face-icon-small-fro

The original REV 151 and 159 tracks are pretty tough, and work well in our Alaska snow. I wonder how the XP tracks stack up that way?

And how about weight savings? I thought the XP tracks were lighter, but I'm not sure. Just asking.:o
