Off the floor Polaris is offering 3 year bumper to bumper, snowcheck was 1+2 powertrain. Terrain Dominator checkers are really getting the shaft. As not as bad as the Canadian snowcheckers. Let your dealers know.

Keep in mind that warranty is also something that can be upgraded or downgraded. You can opt for additional warranty or choose to not have any if you are going to mod out your sled. My point is that comparison might not be apples to apples.

And is the price the same. I know when I snow check many opt for the best price. I always ask for the bet price and then ask how much extra they warranty will be. Usually it is reasonable enough at snow check time I add it on. For example I paid for my 2012 PRORMK $10,680 out the door which includes the 6% sales tax we have to pay and I opted for a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty. It was all included for the out they door price above. I could have even got the sled a bit cheaper if I didn't get the warranty. However, the warranty more than payed for itself.

So in the Fall I could only come close to that price with out the warranty, tax, set-up and freight. So by the time you add all that up your up over retail.

So I guess that questioned is what did you pay out the door and what would you pay today out the door and get the warranty?

I payed 12700.00 out the door for a 2015 163 with the clicker shocks bags and electric start and the 1+1 warranty...not sure what a new 2015 comparable would be but my guess is its quite a bit more...Warranty isnt that big of a deal didnt use it on my 2013 it had no issues..

Snowcheck usually means better warranty period. Not here are some accessories you have to take. If the warranty was the same as the in season sled then no big deal. Are there customers happy that they have less warranty and some bags? I bet they have more than a couple snowcheckers that aren't happy. In season warranty worse than the in season sled are you kidding me. Well to a salesman maybe those look great. I am sure they will sell the in-season sleds cheaper than stated and probably a few extra snowchecks.

and with poo the first year is factory and after that it's a sell off to a second party. so dot your I's and x the T;s

I think people should quit crying about not getting what they think is the "best deal". You contracted to buy a sled, you knew what the offering was prior to committing, now you think they should further sweeten the deal for you? What they are doing is not unusual, and not the first time, get over yourself. If you want a better warranty, buy one. Snowcheck in NO WAY garunteed you the best warranty deal going, not the way I read the promo anyway.

RMS, Do you know if the Klim Snowcheck Jacket was a dealer specific insentive or one from polaris? I was not aware of any jacket. I may have to ask when i go pick it up.

But yeah, alot of incentives this year. Lets hope i wont have to use that warranty. But its there just in case. Gas, Oil and Go!

I'm not sure but I would think the Jacket and 50% discount on a avy course is a incentive from that dealer.

:blah:
To my knowledge that bumper to bumper is not a free upgrade to sleds currently on the floor.
Sleds always get cheaper come fall, maybe a bit earlier this year, but they've got to do what they've got to do to get rid of what they have. Quit crying and buy a Doo already! :violin:
