US National Weather Service: we're predicting a La Nina this year

La Nina…..This is the tropical base state currently over the tropical pacific. Trades are very strong north of the equator and are pushing more and more warm water to the western pacific. The Walker Pump will continue to shift westward. Some models suggest that this La Nina will be a strong one. And……peaking in December. When the jet stream slides down and grabs the moisture from the warm ocean ... WOW somebody gonna get dumped on. A while back La nina dumped over 10feet in a week in the mountains just north of Los Angeles. Hollywierd received a foot of rain in 24 hours !!!

The Pacific Northwest: The PNW is in a prime condition for a year of heavy snowfall. La Niña typically brings colder and wetter conditions to this region. Mt. Baker, WA recorded an astounding 1,140 inches (95 feet) when La Niña hit during the 1998-199 season.

started out pretty good for a couple of days... seems like ol El Nina didn';t get the memo
Ya, weather forecast right now is kinda BLEAK.
