hello, just wondering how much work will it be to upgrade the front coil shocks to a 2007 newer dragon shock?i guess to the float 2"s?what would i need to do to meet my goal without hacking the tub?

If you have the coil-over rebuildable shocks on your sled already, I think you are better off revalving and / or rebuilding what you have... the 2007-2010 WE air shocks I would not recommend unless you have them revalved and rebuilt at the very least, and adding chambers like Fabcraft sells is a big plus for adjustability. If you are trying to stay on the cheaper side that is an option, I believe the shocks that came on the switchbacks were excellent rebuildable shocks too but I am not sure of the interchange years.

I have the WE air shocks. Without revalving the sled dove unpredictably. Fabcraft rebuilt them with new pistons and valving which fixes this. I have a pair with Fabcraft chambers on them that we are going to try without swaybar this season...

I bought a set of WE Air shocks for my 900 and sent them into WE to get "pumped up". After talking with (I think it was John??) there he knew what I was after and said he would set them up for it. I got them back and he revalved them and put in new seals, the best part.... FREE. I'll see if I can find his number and post but someone might have it before that happens. I had the stock Ryde FX rebuildables and added the ZBroz triple rate springs to them and still could not get rid of the nose diving, these shocks seemed to eliminate that problem.

Did you do the heavier front spring on the skid?
