Updating handle bars

I have a 2001 mountain cat 600efi. It has the older style handle bars and I was thinking of updating them to the 02 and up style. I was just wondering if anyone has done this, and where would the best place to get them??

also would it be just an unbolt and re bolt kind of thing??

I did the same thing to a 2001 800 Mountain cat. The handlebars were off of a 04 King cat and were complete when I got them. If I remember correctly all the wire harnesses were the same as were the cables. Just keep your eyes open in the swapmeet section. The handlebars from a 02-06 King/Mtn cat will work just fine. I think some people have even used the bars from a 05-06 M sled.

i used the same bar setup (king cat) on my 01 mnt cat 800 aswell and also used a OLES bar riser 2" . one of the best mods i did. ride hard be safe.

Same bars, i use theme on my m-1000
