As most of you guys know I updated a 2008 M1000 with all the newest parts I could get from BD. and the sled would not run and would not start very good at all.
SO I FOUND WHAT WAS WRONG!!!!!
The NEW high out put fuel pump is NO GOOD, the Pump will pump out 42 psi but has very little flow. And it looks like its foaming the fuel. (a lot of air in the fuel).
So now Im going to put the stock fuel pump back in the sled.
Does anyone know the max amount of boost I can run with just the stock fuel pump. If I dead head the stock fuel pump it will build over 65 PSI of fuel presure but I was told the stock fuel pump lacks flow not PSI.
But anyway what is the max boost I can run with just the stock intank fuel pump on a 2008 M1000. I can even run the fuel driver to up the volts to the stock pump.
Please write in with any input.
By the way I have no air leaks. Its the high out put pump thats bad.
