Just got off the phone..again with the Mt.Baker Ranger Station..they are hoping to have this road repair COMPLETED by mid to end of October!! Stay tuned!!

Got word from a friend who lives in glacier saying the road is going to reopen Thursday...can anyone confirm this?
As of Sunday afternoon... not gonna be finished by thursday. Looks like they have a month or so.
At least they've got equipment there.... I've seen it too many times where these types of jobs get canceled last min. even if there approved & have the money. Funding has a funny way of disappearing into thin air in this state sometimes! But it's looking good being there's equipment on site.
AWESOME! I have never ridden Bear Paw, the road washed out the year I started riding. Stoked to get to ride there.

Cool, greenies make it happen all the while we us snowmobliers whine and complain about supporting grooming. Why three years for canyon creek then a few short months for glacier.Make sure you support your local club we need all to support our sport.
Just got a call this morning(9-18-2013) from the Mt.Baker Ranger Station..Canyon Creek will be done by the end of this month...September...and Glacier Creek will be done by mid-October!!
Do either of these have access to high altitude snow for some early season riding?
Canyon has not been completed yet. Took a ride up there Sunday and checked on it, looking good but not done.
As far as early season riding in the area , not really as it isn't really that high where you unload.
