if you went up via the jeep trail thats nuts. even if you unload right at the trailhead like we did.

I agree, it took some nuts. On the way up we had to stop and cool off our sleds couple of times. Coming down was a straight shot. To our surprise, we found some dissent snow on the hills facing north. Probably would do it again if it snowed a foot or so. But yah... I think that was our season closure.

Unload past the cabins. Gravel riding starts at the Y to pretty much open fields, probably for 2-3 miles. Bring plenty of duct tape for stripping sheet of ice to the tunnel, refreshment to keep you cool and enjoy.
Lake riding is a must.
