Don'T forget the browning bar too one of the best hunting rifles produced. Just because all these people are flocking to the gun stores doesn't mean that the guns the bought they kept they could have sold them threw the classified ads or forums, they also could have had there house broke into and everything stolen. seems to me as someone said above the forms you fill out are only kept for so long 6 or so years but the best idea to purchase guns is not threw an ffl holder but private sale.
with so much scare I have one more question who do you think will come and take your guns? it wont be the FBI it wont be the state police and it wont be the atf or local police not that i for see anything like that but if the office is given orders or instruction they wont do it because i for see a dark time in this country and they will too there isn't enough of them to carry out the task. Its going to have to be a branch of the military and its going to have to be a new branch someone with special training someone who will carry out a crime against there own people there brothers sisters and parents. we have a while

It is the police who run the gun registry and they would love to have a central gun lock up. It is all about keeping people safe. Why is it you have lots of prime nice snowmobiling areas yet you can't go there, if you do your in trouble and your brothers and sisters have no problem carrying out this unjust act on you.

So what is the deal here? If you buy from a dealer a hand gun or Automatic gun, you have to go through the registration process right. What if you buy at gun shows? can you buy autos and hand guns unregistered that way?

every gun you buy from a dealer or at a show is registered....that's what the phone call does.

Only way you are getting unregistered in your name is if you buy private party....and even then, most people are making up a bill of sale to cover their own ace.

Not that I know because I don't "own" any guns.

Unless your state specifically calls for registration of your guns, they're not registered per se. The 4473 form that you fill out at the gun store goes into a file cabinet at the store. They know that you bought 'a' gun, but now what other than handgun, rifle, shotgun. They call in for a background check, and get a go ahead or denied or whatever, and thats as far as the communications with the feds go. The gun store has to keep those 4473 forms on file for a set number of years, 6 I think, but I'm not positive. If they need to find out who bought a certain gun, they'll trace it to the dealer that had it, and have them find the form.

Only the communist states have a gun registration database. Just like the states that require the fired case when you buy a new pistol, lot of good that database has done them.

true not a technical registration base....but you know the feds could call up that list and come knocking...hence why you almst always have a bill of sale in private party.
