Hey just checking in again, anyone know how the conditions are from the line shack to lava and on over to togowotee?
heading out at end of next week?

Well as of 1/9.11 conditions were great. Good snow coverage, good grooming, groomed all the way I think twice a week from union to lava to tog. You can get gas a line shack, crooked creek, and lava mtn. Green creek safety shelter is up with wood to burn, but as of the 9th sheridan basin shelter was not. Snow is great to excellent off trail in most places, and as usual, the snowpack does increase the closer to tog pass you get.
More storms on the way through the week into the weekend. Sorry no pics.

Just got back from the Line Shack area. The snow was great. deep powder off trail. This was some of the best off trail riding i have ever experienced.
if you having a hard time deciding where to go, Union pass area is a sure bet right now.
